On Film With Feeling

Exhibited September 12, 2026 at The Haida Heritage Centre at Ḵay Llnagaay

The name ‘On Film With Feeling’ comes from, or rather is, of sorts, an ode to Nick Cave and the motion picture documenting the recording of his album Skeleton Tree, One More Time with Feeling.

On Film with Feeling is a mixed-media photographic and print project involving the Hasselblad Xpan and illustrations of Haida Supernaturals. The project aims to illustrate the fluidity between two worlds: the land and waterscapes of Haida Gwaii and that of the Haida supernaturals overlaid.

This project has resulted in a total of five framed and signed prints. The prints were donated and received into the permanent collection of the Haida Gwaii Museum on September 12, 2026.
